"content": "Additionally, by a letter from the office of the Permanent Secretary, Secretary to the Cabinet and Head of Public Service dated 17th August, 2011, the National Assembly has been advised that His Excellency the President has, after consultations with the Right hon. Prime Minister, nominated Mr. Edward R. Ouko to be considered by the House for approval and appointment as the Auditor-General. I, therefore, also direct that the name of this nominee and the accompanying curriculum vitae be forwarded to the Departmental Committee on Finance, Planning and Trade for consideration prior to approval by the House. The Departmental Committee on Finance, Planning and Trade is similarly directed to proceed with dispatch and table its report to the House on or before Thursday, 25th August, 2011."
