"content": "Madam Temporary Deputy Speaker, Article 27(4) of the Constitutions says that the State shall not discriminate directly or indirectly against any person on any ground. You have heard the Assistant Minister saying very dramatically how he will not spare anyone and when there is hate speech, he will deal with the culprit. The National Cohesion and Integration Commission has already forwarded cases of two Members of Parliament on hate speech, which are not being prosecuted. The Assistant Minister is telling us that he shall arrest people. What assurance is there that he will not violate the Constitution? When we, Members of Parliament, violate the Constitution, the only thing he does is to come here, jump and tell us how he will take action, but when it is ordinary folks, he arrests them. Is he applying double standards?"
