    "content": "Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, I believe that as hon. Members of Parliament, we need to ensure that we are proceeding as per the dictates of the Constitution, so that we are not seen as the violators of the same. I have in mind Section 44 (a) of the Finance Act, 2011, so that we have enough consultation with the Salaries and Remuneration Commission and the Government. Hon. Members are also aware that much as what is in that provision may have been discussed earlier, I think the constitutionality needs to be addressed. Maybe that is not touching directly on the Statue Law (Miscellaneous Amendments) Bill, but it is something also of public interest."
