    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I want to give a chronology of events of what really transpired. Pursuant to Section 6(3) of the National Police Service Act, it is important to note that the Selection Panel advertised for the positions of the Chairperson and members of the National Police Service Commission in the print media somewhere in December, 25th of 2011. A total of 21 applications were received for the position of Chairperson. The position of retired senior police officers attracted a total of 15 applicants. The positions of other members received a total of 207 applications."
