    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, this matter has been outstanding for quite some time now. I am not so sure that the Assistant Minister is sure of resolving the matter within a week. Therefore, I would ask him to take two weeks and deal with the matter exhaustively because the law governing pension payments in this country is very clear. Nobody has a right to stop the payment of anybody’s pension. Even if that person owes the Ministry money, the law, which was amended in 2005, is very clear that pension has to be released to the recipient. It cannot even be put as mortgage."
