    "content": "THAT, Clause 42 of the Bill be amended- (a) in paragraph (b) of sub-clause (3) by deleting the words “jointly and severally” after the words “deemed to have” (b) by inserting the following new sub-clause after sub-clause (5)- “(6) Notwithstanding sub-clause (5), a person who is a member of a political party that has been suspended and is a member of Parliament or of a county assembly, shall continue as a member of Parliament or of the county assembly for the unexpired term. (7) The Registrar or an employee of the Office of the Registrar of Political Parties commits an offence where the Registrar or the employee of the Office of Political Parties knowingly subverts the objectives of the Constitution and of this Act”."
