I want to assure him that, first, we were not invited; we went to Somalia out of need. That is why the operation was dubbed Operation Linda Nchi . We are in Somalia in order to protect our country and secure our borders. So long as the situation in Somalia is not resolved, there will continue to be the need for our troops to be in Somalia. We are there searching jointly with the rest of the international community for lasting peace and a sustainable solution to the Somalia crisis. We are not there because we love to be there."
