"content": "So, Mr. Speaker, Sir, this is more to the institutions of Government; the three arms of Government – that we must be ready to show that we, ourselves, are prepared to live by the law of the land instead of requiring our people to live by the law of the land. Similarly, we do not live by the law of the land--- Kenya was a very great society at the beginning; everybody had great hopes for this country. But at a particular time in history, it is almost like everybody was giving up on Kenya. We have a tradition in this country that whenever things look like we are going down the drain and everything does not seem to work, Kenyans always rise up to the occasion and make things move back on the rail and to the required objective or destination."
