(a) I am aware that cattle rustlers have severally attacked Chemoe, Yatia, Kamwitio, Chepkesin and Kapturo all within Batabwa Division of Baringo North District in the course of this month in which four people have so far lost their lives. (b) The following is the breakdown of the number of livestock stolen and recovered and people displaced during the raids. The number of goats stolen was 598 while those recovered were192. The balance is 406 goats. Sixty six cattle were stolen; recovered - 30; balance - 36. Twenty five sheep were stolen and none was recovered."
