    "content": " Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, it is unfair for the Government to keep pension dues that should have been paid to senior citizens of this country. Teachers are not the only public servants who are suffering. There are other Kenyans who retired, whose pension has not been released by the Treasury. Various Ministries have done the paper work relating to retirees’ pension and forwarded the documents to the Treasury. So, there is no reason for retired teachers not to get their pension. These are Kenyans who spent all their lifetime serving this country using all the talents that God gave them, and all the skills they acquired through training. It is disgusting and demoralising for teachers who have done so well for this country to be treated this way."
