(a) Is the Minister aware that M/s Kingsway Tyres and Automart Limited, PIN P000609825C and VAT NO. 0021199L, owe a whooping Kshs. 2,639,210,836.00 and Ksh. 270, 074, 978.00 as tax arrears in form of uncollected income tax and VAT respectively as of 30th April, 2012? (b) What is the reason for the failure by Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) to collect these taxes? (c) What is the Minister doing to ensure that the money is collected with immediate effect?"
