"content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I would like to give my undertaking to the hon. Member and also plead with him that the Ministry has already directed the hospital to work with the Ministry of Public Works officers locally to quantify and cost all the pending works. That exercise is very important because it is only after it is completed that the Ministry can seek funding from Treasury. Since it has stalled for a long time and because of wear and tear of the buildings, when it stalled, it was about 80 per cent complete. But our estimate after many years of stalling, it is about only 60 per cent complete. So, it means that there is much more substantial work to be done and we need to get that information by the Ministry of Public Works in Kapsabet. We are working with the hospital so that we have accurate figures and not to start a project which shall stall again."
