That the Constitution, the nomination rules and the Treaty that gave effect to the EAC have put a very high standard, as far as the nomination rules are concerned. The highest standards are found in Rule 5(2), 6(1) and 6(2) where they insist that to be seen to be a fair and transparent process, the decisions of political parties should be made public."
