    "content": " Mr. Speaker, Sir, I want to start by, perhaps, disagreeing with my colleague that the next elections will not be problematic. We have every hope that the systems that have been put in place will make sure that it will be easier. Let me start by congratulating the nine Members elect of the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) and also to recognize the efforts that have been put by the Speaker’s Office and the Clerk’s Office and the Committees that have worked on the rules and the whole procedure; the way the political parties have also behaved themselves in terms of the nomination and clearance of the people and avoiding any showdowns on the Floor of the House as we saw in the past."
