I hope that you appreciate the gravity of this problem for the people of Marsabit and Isiolo county to a level where we are no longer taking our students to school in Meru yet there are so many good schools just because the parents are afraid. We have even stopped trading or taking our livestock to markets in Nairobi and that is the backbone of our economy. I have already written to the Departmental Committee in charge of security personally and I want you to defer this Question so that they can do the needful for the people of those two counties. In just five months, 18 incidences have happened and five people have been killed while five others were injured. In just five months, eclipses have happened and five people were killed and others were injured. I plead with you to refer this Question to the relevant departmental Committee, so that, the issue can be dealt with conclusively and the necessary recommendations are made on this great North Horr, which links Cairo to Cape Town."
