However, some records could not be traced owing to the fact that the Anti-Narcotics Unit was formed in 1993 and some records which were held by the police station have since been destroyed in accordance with the Records Disposal Code Rule stipulated in the subsidiary legislation contained in the Legal Notice No.364/1968 of the Records Disposal Act, Chapter 14 of the Laws of Kenya. (b) Investigations conducted, did not reveal that any of the above suspects had bank accounts."
