    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I wish to seek a Ministerial Statement from the Minister for Education with regard to the looming crisis facing all public primary and secondary schools countrywide following the unprecedented delay in the disbursement of the Free Primary Education (FPE) and Subsidised Secondary Education (SSE) funds. In the Statement, the Minister should address the following:- (i) give reasons for this delay, which is virtually crippling learning in public primary and secondary schools countrywide; (ii) give a timeline, which should not go beyond the next seven days, within which all the public schools should expect to receive these funds; and, (iii) assure this House and the public that there shall be no repeat of such delay in future, and that no students or pupils will be sent away from school on account of lack of Government funds."
