    "content": "Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, going directly into the Bill, the debate that has been in the public domain as to whether we want to retain the Administration Police (AP) or not has been put to rest by this Bill. Clearly, we will benefit from the experience that has been generated over a period by the presence of the APs in our country. This again reflects the wishes of Kenyans, who by and large, mentioned that they had seen the need for the APs. The good thing is that both the forces will fall under one command; we have recognized the advantages that we can derive from the regular and the Administration Police."
