If this rapid loss of vegetation is creating the kind of problems that the Member of Parliament has raised and it is due to human settlement, then is it not time again he bit the bullet and stopped encroachment on areas that are of vegetative cover that helps in stabilizing the environment? He should deal with the human settlement and encroachment which is the real issue here."
