In many rural areas, people farm very close to streams, rivers and water catchment areas. We have recognised the problem. As I said earlier, we are working on an inter-Ministerial approach towards the achievement of a permanent solution not only for the catchment area of Lake Kanyaboli but for all other areas in the country where people are farming very close to rivers and water catchment areas."
