Members who have made their contribution, including those who may not have had the opportunity to make their contribution. This is because if you look at their faces, it is clear that there is unanimity by the hon. Members that this is a good Bill at this particular time. This is in the sense that all of them have indicated that once this Bill becomes an Act and it is fully implemented, it will definitely go very far in terms of changing the culture of the police and endearing the policemen to the people. But at the same time, as has already been noted, we must also reciprocate to our police. Our police must be provided with emoluments that are commensurate with the heavy duties that we demand that they undertake. More importantly, they should be given the right facilities and proper housing."
