Members have made an observation that the Police Service will be headed by an Inspector-General and under him, there will be the Kenya Police Service, which will be headed by a Deputy Inspector-General. We will also have the Administration Police Service, also headed by a Deputy Inspector-General. There is no way we can change this because that, again, is lifted from the Constitution. This is precisely in the Bill because the Constitution took into account the wishes of the people."
