"content": "thing is that if we commit ourselves as one of the arms of Government - as the legislative arm of Government - and we play our part, then it will become very clear who is performing and who is not performing in the eyes of Kenyans. In this connection, I am very encouraged with what I have heard today. That is because many a times, we have had to interrupt business here because of lack of quorum or participation. I do hope that with this new found passion for work, we will be able to move without lack of quorum, as we move forward from both ends. As the Legislature, we have 222 Members who comprise this Parliament. We are only required to raise 30 to transact business for the people of Kenya. I will like to ask that we work together in the remaining period that we have and with the challenges that we have. We will be covering a bit of that when we make our Statement to ensure that Kenyans get value for their money from this Parliament."
