    "content": "During the House business Committee meeting on Tuesday this week, Members unanimously agreed to give priority to constitutional implementation Bills that require to be enacted within two years of the promulgation of our Constitution. Regarding that critical task, it is important to note that, out of the nine legislative areas falling under the 27th of August deadline, we have managed to tackle four, leaving us with legislation covering the following areas:- Under Chapter Six, which is spelt out by Article 80, the Leadership and Integrity Bill, 2012, is being finalized to be reviewed by the relevant agencies. I believe right now, it is with the CIC. The right to petition Parliament under Chapter 8, Article 119 again, the relevant policy is being developed by the Ministry of Justice, National Cohesion and Constitutional Affairs, in consultation with Parliamentary Service Commission."
