    "content": "Madam Temporary Deputy Speaker, this is the second Budget whereby Parliament has been able to influence the expenditure estimates and make adjustments to the Executive Budget proposals as considered appropriate. Members of Parliament will recall that, in the previous Budget considerations, strides were made as Parliament was able to institute austerity measures to reduce wastage of public resources, as well as allocate funding for key priority areas such food purchase and sun cream for Kenyans living with albinism. This year, we hope even greater strides will be made as we seek to fully implement the recommendations outlined in this Report."
