    "content": "Madam Temporary Deputy Speaker, I want to start by saying that we are witnessing an ever-growing budget. This is as expected because Kenya is developing. But I want to point out that it is important that this House is kept abreast with the fundamentals that underpin the Budget. Recently, we passed here an amendment to the Central Bank Act requiring the Governor to be reporting the monetary policies and the underlying parameters to this House every three months. We expect the same to be done to this House on the fiscal parameters."
