    "content": "In Parliament, colleagues will miss and remember Hon. Ojode determination gander and spirit in tackling parliamentary questions directed to the Ministry by hon. Members. Those who worked and interacted with the late Hon. Ojode has described him as having been an amiable and easy to relate to personality and always cheerful; and fondly referred to him as “Sirikali” by his colleagues. The late Ojode was a family man, a loving husband to his wife Mary and caring father to his son. Hon. Members, during this time of sorrow and grief, on behalf of all Members of Parliament, the staff and on my own behalf, I send our heartfelt condolences to the family, relatives, friends, constituents and the nation for the tragic loss of the gallant and illustrious sons of Kenya, the late Hon. Prof. George Saitoti and the late Hon. Joshua Orwa Ojode. I, in equal measure, extend our sympathy and prayers to the families and friends of the four officers who departed in the line of duty. The void left by our departed colleagues and countrymen will be difficult to fill. May the good Almighty God rest their souls in eternal peace. Amen."
