"content": "I now turn to the matter of the aviation industry. I speak here as a sister of one of the fallen Members of Parliament. I want to state that, yes, right now, with all the emotions that we have, the Government would like to do everything under its power. However, when the emotions go down and everything returns to normal, I can assure you that one stands alone. In most cases, like in the case of hon. Lorna Laboso and Mr. Kipkalya Kones, we were given reports by the Ministry. Yes, you have put together a taskforce which has been done exactly the same way. However, at the end of the exercise, we were given a report that was unsigned. To date, we are having problems trying to go to court with an unsigned report. So, I want to urge the Government that even as they put together this taskforce they will behave this time round and take up the matter extremely seriously so that the people who are suffering and the members of the families that have gone through this can, at least, have something that they can--- You cannot compensate for the loss of a loved one. However, at least, make it easier for the families. Finally, I want to say that I was in Sotik waiting for hon. George Saitoti on Monday because he had decided that once and for all, he wanted to spend a whole day at the Sotik- Borabu border so that he can try and find out the exact problem that we have been having. So, I want to urge the residents of Sotik and Borabu that in memory of the fallen heroes, and in memory of that whole Ministry, because this is not just about hon. Prof. George Saitoti and Mr. Ojode but all Permanent Secretaries, that we live in peace."
