"content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, thank you very much for giving me this opportunity. My very deep condolences to our departed colleagues - the hon. George Saitoti and the hon. Joshua Orwa Ojode and to the other four Kenyans whom we lost in this very terrible crash. Mr. Speaker, Sir, hon. Saitoti was a great leader and politician in his own class. I must say that he was amongst the very few seasoned politicians who refused to be identified with any ethnic community and in that particular instance, he stood very tall. The last occasion I had with hon. George Saitoti was about three weeks ago when I went to Kisii. When I came back, I had occasion with the Vice-President to visit hon. Saitoti on matters of security especially in Kisii and Moyale. Hon. Saitoti undertook to deal with the issues of the border between Kisii and Kericho and especially the Sotik-Borabu border. But unfortunately, he did not manage to do that because he was meant to accomplish that task this Monday. That aside, he did a fabulous job as Minister for Provincial Administration and Internal Security. Mr. Speaker, Sir, the great man, hon. Orwa Ojode, with his humour and diligence stood tall in the way he managed the affairs of Internal Security and to him, his loss is a loss to his family and to this Parliament. The investigations that have been launched must be credible. The families must be involved and no stones - as has been said before - must be left unturned until the truth is known on what really happened. There are many questions that must be answered and the families must be satisfied."
