"content": "Thank you very much, hon. Member for Yatta. In fact, the Minister did not come. He gave us an appointment and we waited for him from morning to evening, but he did not show up. Perhaps, this Assistant Minister should take it up from where the former Minister left. My question is, because there is a binding Legal Notice No.93 of 20th July, 2000 that places the management of this forest to Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS). I have tabled a copy which was preceded by a letter signed by Hon. Francis Nyenze, EGH, MP, Minister for Environment and Natural Resources, placing the management of the forest to KWS. The only reason they have not been managing it is because Kenya Forest Service (KFS) has resisted all such attempts.
