It says as follows:- “As you may know, the Government has now directed KWS to assume responsibility for the Mt. Kenya Forest and it would be important to work out the modalities. Obviously, the plantations and areas for plantations are not to be incorporated. Could you urgently give some time to review the steps that need to be taken?” That was in 2000. Just give out the areas without plantations."
