    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I want to thank the Assistant Minister for attempting to answer this Question. These forests were planted in the 1960s and 1970s. I recall that the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kenya came and launched the restoration of Kodera Forest where we planted over 70,000 trees. Through the support of the Constituencies Development Fund (CDF) we did what we could to plant all these trees. We sourced some even from Lake Victoria Water Services and other donors, including BAT. Up to now, I want to say that all those trees which we planted are now in the bush. A number has been destroyed. What is the Ministry doing in order to ensure that the trees which were planted are cared for and protected in order to grow?"
