    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, as I oppose this Motion, I want to put three fundamental issues across. The Government side is asking for reduction of the publication period from 14 days to six days, which means they are reducing the period by eight days. Eight days will not cause a miracle of reforms in the police service but they will do justice to the Back Bench; Members of Parliament, and the public will scrutinize these Bills, so that they may put across what they think is essential and what is missing."
