(a) As at the end of October, 2011, the total external debt (owed and guaranteed) by the Government of Kenya between 2003 and 2011 amounted to Kshs304,284,000,000. This amount was obtained from a number of creditors, including the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund and the Government of Japan. The repayment of loans is charged on the Consolidated Fund Services commonly known as CFS. (b) I hereby table a schedule providing details of the projects that were funded and the respective cost of each project."
