"content": "I want to encourage the Leader of Government Business to bring us Bills in good time. We do not want to be the laughing stock of this country. We seem to be passing Bills whose contents we have no idea of. I am not raising this just because the President has refused to assent to Sections of the Statute Law (Miscellaneous Amendments) Bill. I raised it last week that we look like we are doing things we do not know and, for sure, we look like we did things that we had no clue of. Members were coming out of here and saying: We did not know we were passing such things. It is a bit embarrassing."
