    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I want to seek assurance from the Assistant Minister regarding many properties in many parts of Nairobi in particular in my constituency which have been sold off by the City Council of Nairobi. Many of these properties have been public utilities like markets, clinics and school playgrounds. One particular case of private/public sector partnership which the City Council has been involved in is, for example, selling the Eastleigh Market, the Eastleigh Chief’s Camp and the Eastleigh Social Hall. It includes the playground and the land of Kamukunji Secondary and many other situations of that kind. Is the Assistant Minister aware that many of these were public utilities that have been given away under the cover of the public/private sector partnership? What action has he taken to ensure that the City Council does not sell secretly many of these public utilities and properties owned by the City Council?"
