The meeting also resolved that the following Speaker’s Rules should be brought to the attention of the Members of the House:- “General Rule Rule 4 - No Member may bring any firearm or any other offensive weapon into the Buildings or Gardens. All such weapons must be deposited with the Serjeant-At- Arms at the time of entry, and collected at the time of leaving. Rule 5"
