    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, in the year 2005, the Government gave the PBK Kshs863 million to clear some of these debts. However, some of the debts were not 100 per cent cleared. These are some of the debts which have been outstanding there plus debts owed to some suppliers. We found that the most prudent way of dealing with this issue – because we have not been able to get further funding from the Treasury – was to dispose of the non-core assets of the Board, so that we can clear some of those debts and move on."
