    "content": "Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, I just want to applaud this step that provides the Kenyan consumer with a platform, not only a platform to take action, but a deterrent. This law in itself, upon enactment by this House and assent by the President - I do believe that His Excellency will assent to it expeditiously because it is a Bill of great import - will serve as a deterrent. Let all providers of services and goods out there be warned in advance that the paradigm has shifted. The arena of provision of goods and services shall never be the same again. Kenyans should take comfort that now they will have a legal framework within which they can protect their interests and rights and a responsibility on the side of anybody who provides goods and services be they public or private entities, will be enforced strictly."
