"content": "(b) Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital is working with the following organizations to establish a functional chronic disease management/cancer treatment centre. The Ministry of Medical Services is to provide staff, furniture and medical equipment. Indiana University School of Medicine (USA) is to provide initial funds for construction. International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in Vienna, Austria, is to provide a radiotherapy machine (Cabalt 60) and cancer nuclear diagnostic equipment. The ground breaking ceremony for the three storey building with two basement bunkers will take place before the end of September, 2012. The estimated cost of establishing the cancer treatment centre is approximately Kshs945,515,000."
