    "content": "Order, Members! I have one Communication to make this afternoon. This is with respect to Presidential assent to Bills passed by the House. Standing Order No.125 requires the Attorney-General to present to the President within 14 days of receipt from the Clerk every Bill passed by this House. Thereafter, at the expiry of 14 days, the Attorney-General is required to file a return to the Speaker indicating the time and the date when the Bill was presented to His Excellency the President. The returns now received indicate that the following five Bills were presented by the Attorney-General to His Excellency the President for assent and were duly assented to on 24th July, 2012 at 10.30 a.m. The Bills are:- (1) The National Authority for the Campaign Against Alcohol and Drug Abuse Bill, 2012, which was passed by the National Assembly on 16th May, 2012. (2) The Cancer Prevention and Control Bill, 2012, which was passed by the National Assembly on 13th June, 2012. (3) The County Governments Bill, 2012, which was passed by the National Assembly on 19th June, 2012. (4) The Public Finance Management Bill, 2012, which was passed by the National Assembly on 27th June, 2012. (5) The Public Service Commission Bill, 2012, which was passed by the National Assembly on 28th June, 2012."
