    "content": "Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir. The Assistant Minister concedes that this is not a universally applicable payment scheme. Could he consider, and this is a matter that I have raised previously, one very obvious category of older Kenyans that constitute the Mau Mau War veterans who fought for this country’s Independence and are spread all over this country who are all over 70 years old, are very poor and have been abandoned completely by this Government to an extent that they are filing cases outside Kenya to seek some form of livelihood? Could the Assistant Minister consider giving the Mau Mau War veterans money under this scheme?"
