The UN has estimated that almost 10 million Kenyans are affected by famine. I expected the Assistant Minister to give a more elaborate answer than say that the Ministry will take appropriate measures. What will the Assistant Minister do not only for Kieni but for other districts in the Republic which have been affected by famine as we speak today? What is “appropriate”?"
