    "content": "Thank you, Madam Temporary Deputy Speaker, for giving me an opportunity to contribute to this Motion. I want to thank hon. Namwamba for bringing this Motion; I want to say it is timely. Indeed, the KFA, with a membership of 65,000 farmers, is an organization that used to really help Kenyan farmers in many ways. The Kenyan farmers used to market their produce through this giant organization. The KFA also used to provide affordable inputs such as fertilizers, seeds and even agrochemicals to Kenyan farmers. Its collapse has made the Kenyan farmers to live in abject poverty. You can see poverty on the faces of the farmers, because they get inputs at high prices. They can no longer do business in this sector."
