In this framework, the wetlands are protected in a way that they can be managed sustainably so that the resource can be kept for as long as possible. This is because if we kill our wetlands, then we are in danger of killing our main sources of water. The same wetlands are also utilized as cleaning systems for other ecosystems because they retrieve most of the debris that come from the productive land or remove poisonous waste from water. So, the framework entails protection of these wetlands."
