    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, we are also preparing the issuance of new generation ID cards. This will be our final journey in this process. The third generation card system will be electronic and plastic-based. The new card will be equipped with a micro chip containing the holder’s details and other enhanced security features. The micro chip will also have an adequate space for multiple applications, for e- Government and e-commerce, for example, voting, taxpaying, health insurance, pension and all spotted identification for any transaction. Upon completion, the third generation national identity card system is expected to increase efficiency in the card issuance process by allowing real time data transmission and online customer application tracking system."
