    "content": "Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, I want to support this Bill from the outset. It is a Bill which will address corruption that has continued to bedevil this country for a long time. The Bill is okay, but it lacks the mechanism to enforce it when once it is enacted into law. We see a self-declaration form. However, but we do not know what happens once we fill it. What is the purpose of the self-declaration form? So, what we would urge the Committee that is charged with the Bill is to bring us good amendments. We hope that they will allow us also to bring in our own amendments at the Committee Stage. We would like to see our amendments incorporated in the Bill at the Committee Stage. It is a good Bill, but a bit shallow. We should strive to enrich it in the Committee Stage so that we come up with a law that will help us fight corruption and impunities in this country. Those two vices are running down our country."
