    "content": " Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, I thank you very much for giving me the opportunity to support this Bill. Honestly speaking, this Bill deserves better input from this House. I hope that the amendments that we envisage from the relevant Committee and various individual Members of Parliament will enrich it further. In fact, I was of the view that we should have a different threshold for elective offices – a threshold that is higher than that for any other public office – because we know the role that elective offices play in this country. We must avoid trying to self-preserve ourselves."
