"content": "I was referring to page 54 of yesterday’s proceedings in the HANSARD - the amendment that deleted the original Clause 10 that was in the Bill and replaced it with one--- My understanding of that amendment is that it is in direct contravention of Clause 108(2) of the Constitution, in the sense that it goes against the definition and the whole issue that is envisaged by Clause 108 of the Constitution. This is in so far as the coalition that is envisaged by Article 108 of the Constitution is concerned; coalition formed after elections. For Parliament to allow that amendment that negates this provision, it is unconstitutional. That is my first point."
