It says: “A person nominated for election to a State office shall submit to the Commission a declaration in respect of himself or herself, the nominee’s spouse and the nominee’s dependants who are under the age of eighteen years. It is a beautiful legislation. If you want to seek an elective position, you need to tell Kenyans - through the Commission - what is it that you have. That way, we can look at you. What is it that you do not have? If you have chicken, tell us. If you have high rise buildings, tell us. That way, we will know that we are electing a rich fellow.
